Associate Professor Clair Ramsden commenced in the role in July 2017 and is responsible for the Operations of the largest LHDs in NSW.
In Clair’s previous positions she was responsible for large strategic and operational portfolios including, eHealth Clinical Programs, Whole of Health Program, Emergency and Surgical Performance, Project Management, Clinical Redesign, HSFAC – internal and external emergency response and bio-preparedness and Public Health.
Clair is a registered nurse who has extensive experience in Emergency and Trauma nursing, leadership positions and has worked in a variety of settings both in Australia and the UK. Clair has published a number of articles and book chapters, including co-editor of 3 textbooks, Emergency and Trauma Care for Nurses and Paramedics.
Clair holds Master degree’s in Health Care Ethics and in Health Service Management and has completed the Benevolent Society Sydney Leadership Program – Social Leadership Australia 2013.
Clair brings a strong and diverse career experience with a depth of knowledge both within operations and at a high level in broader health service policy, disaster management, workforce, cultural change management and leadership.
